Ann Davis
Coordinator of the AFTE panel of reviewers for this interactive Firearms Analyst Training Program, Ann Davis has been an employee of the Commonwealth of Virginia Forensic for approximately 29 years. Ann supervised the Virginia Department of Forensic Science Central Laboratory Firearm and Toolmark Section in Richmond, Virginia from January, 1989 through November 2008. Currently, she serves as the Physical Evidence Program Manager over the Latent Print and Impressions, Digital and Multimedia Evidence, Bloodstain Pattern, Questioned Documents and Firearm and Toolmarks Sections at the Department. Ann earned a B.S. in Biochemistry from Queens College, Charlotte, North Carolina in 1976, and a M.S. in Criminal Justice with emphasis in Forensic Science in 1990 from Virginia Commonwealth University, where she has served for a number of years as an Adjunct Professor and research mentor in the Forensic Science Master's Program. In 2007, Ann was appointed Affiliate Assistant Professor in the VCU Department of Forensic Science and honored by being selected for alumni membership of the Phi Kappa Phi honor society.
Ann is a distinguished life member of the Association of Firearm and Toolmark Examiners (AFTE), and served for 12 years on the Board of Directors between the years 1992 - 2005. Ann was the 35th President of the Association during 2003-2004. Currently, she is the Coordinator of the Training subcommittee of the Standardization and Training Committee and a member of the Ethics Committee. Ann has been an ASCLD/LAB inspector for the Legacy program since 1997. Since 2003, she has also served as an instructor with the BATFE National Firearm Examiner Academy in Ammendale, Maryland.

Thomas L. G. Price
Thomas L.G. Price (T.L.) received a Bachelor of Science degree (1993) from Washburn University and began his career in Firearm and Toolmark Identification in 1992 with the Kansas Bureau of Investigation Firearm and Toolmark Section located in Topeka, Kansas. He is the 40th President of the Association of Firearm and Tool Mark Examiners and has served as Chair of the Research and Development Committee as well as serving on the Committee for the Standardization of Microscopic Documentation and the Training Committee. Mr. Price has also served as the Chair of the Scientific Working Group for Firearms and Toolmarks (SWGGUN) from 2004-2007 and currently serves as a Laboratory Inspector for the American Society of Crime Laboratory Directors/ Laboratory Accreditation Board (ASCLD/LAB) and a Certified ISO Laboratory Accessor for the ASCLD/LAB International Program. He has been a firearm and toolmark examiner since 1994 after beginning his initial training in 1992 from the Kansas Bureau of Investigation. He has worked in both Kansas and Texas as a firearm and toolmark examiner and currently serves as the Chief of the Firearm and Toolmark Sections at the Kansas Bureau of Investigation Forensic Science Laboratory in Topeka, Kansas.
